In her first leg of electioneering for the January-5 national election, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina embarks on a two-day tour of three districts, including her home district Gopalganj, on Thursday. The two other districts are Faridpur and Munshiganj. Sheikh Hasina, also the President of the ruling Awami League, would address 5-6 election rallies in different areas of the three districts during her visit, according to the Prime Minister Office. She will stay overnight on Thursday in Gopalganj. The Prime Minister will return to the capital on Friday evening. – UNB
