PM greets wounded freedom fighters

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday greeted the war-wounded freedom fighters and their families on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

Officials from the Prime Minister Office (PMO), on behalf of Sheikh Hasina, greeted them with flowers, fruits, sweets and food at the War Wounded Freedom Fighters’ Rest House at Mohammadpur in the city.
The freedom fighters, who were present on the occasion, expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister.
They said they will continue their all-out support to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as in the past, said PM’s APS Noorelahi Mina.
The freedom fighters requested the Prime Minister to execute the verdicts of the trial of war criminals quickly. This will bring solace to the souls of the departed freedom fighters, Mina quoted the freedom
fighters as saying.
The freedom fighters also hoped that the people of the country will reelect the present government in the next election to finish the trial of the war criminals to make the country free from war criminals
and razakars, Mina added. – UNB
