An ASI of police of Detective Branch of Rajshahi Metropolitan unit and
a constable has been closed to Rajshahi Police Lines for their alleged
connection with drug-traders.
At the same time, administrative investigation has been started
against those two policemen.
SM Moniruzzaman, Commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police closed
those two policemen through an order at the Police Lines.
Those who were closed have been identified as ASI of DB, Metropolitan
branch Mijanur Rahman and constable Alamin. Alamin is also a driver of
DB police.
Officer-in-charge of DB, Rajshahi informed, ASI Mijanur and constable
Alamin have been closed to the Police Lines as per the direction of
