Councillor of Bogra Municipality and president Bogra town unit Juba Dal, Masud Rana (40) has been shot in his leg after arrest on early Suday, Rana’ family sources have told journalists.Bogra Sadar police on the other hand said, on the basis of secret information they arrested Rana and went to recover arms from the Zahurul Nagar area of the town along with him. As Masus Rana reportedly tried to flee police shot him in his leg.
Masud Rana was arrested at quarter to 3 am from the house of his brother in law Alam from Chhoto Kumira area. OC of Bogra Sadar Thana said they recovered one pipegun, two bullets and 22 cocktails from Rana’s possession.
