Local people blocked train movement on the Dhaka-Chittagong route to
press for their demand for gas supply in Kashba upazila on Thursday.
Witnesses said local people blocked the rail tracks of Kashba railway
station around 9.00am demanding that gas connection be installed
immediately in the upazila.
The blockaders hoisted red flag in the rail station and halted
Chittagong-bound Jalalabad Express train from Sylhet at the outer of
the station.
Train movement on the Dhaka-Chittagong route remained halted as of
