Two minor boys were killed as a truck rammed a rickshaw they were riding in Bhaluka upazila on Wednesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Alfaz, 11, son of Sultan, a resident of Raghaichati village in Gafargaon upazila, and Shahidul, 8, son of Bachchu, a resident of Kazibaira village in Ishwarganj upazila.Abul Kalam Azad, officer-in-charge of Bhaluka Model Police Station, said the accident took place at Mastarbari Bazar in front of Ideal Spinning Mill at about 10:00 am when a truck rashly driven hit the rickshaw carrying the two boys, leaving them dead on the spot.
Police recovered the bodies and sent those to the hospital morgue for autopsy.A case was filed in this connection. -UNB
