Two persons were killed and another was injured in a road accident in Sarkar Bazar area under Khalilpur Union of the district on Tuesday evening. The deceased were identified as Matiur Rahman 30 and Pavel 20. They hailed from Habiganj district.Local sources said a microbus knocked a tree as its driver lost control over the vehicle in the area, leaving two dead on the spot and another injured. The injured driver was rushed to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital. Sherpur Highway Thana Sub-Inspector confirmed the incident to journalists.
