Dhaka-The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka on Sunday deferred submission of the probe report in the Sagor-Runi murder case to February 8.Magistrate Waez Kuruni Khan Chowdhury of the court passed the order as the Investigation Officer of the case, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) ASP Wares Ali Mia did not submit any report on Sunday.
Sagar Sarowar, News Editor of Maasranga Television Station and his wife Meherun Runi, Senior Reporter of ATN Bangla, were killed at their rented flat in the capital on February 11, 2012.
The next day, Nawsher Alam Roman, younger brother of Runi, lodged the murder case with Sher-e-Bangla Nagaar Police Station of the city without naming anyone. Later, on April 18, 2012, the High Court Division of the Supreme Court ordered to shift the case to RAB.-Special Correspondent
