Dhaka – Adnan Abdullah Alnuaim, Deputy Minister of Customer Relations, Ministry of Labour and Social Development of Saudi Arabia, says his government has built guesthouses in different parts of the country as a security measure for migrant workers.
“We’re working to solve the different problems of Bangladeshi workers. We’ll resolve the problem after discussions with the employer by this time or the worker will be recruited in a new workplace under another employer.”
“Visa-trading” will have to stop for reducing immigration cost, said Alnuaim adding that “if any Saudi citizen is involved in visa trading, we’ll take stern steps against him or her. “
He said if any employee dies in Saudi Arabia, the government will ensure the body is sent to the home country as soon as possible, alongside the payment of any dues/compensation owed to the deceased.
