A minor schoolboy drowned in the Dhaleshwari river at Char Ulaiel
village in Singair upazila while taking bath on Friday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Adibar Baidya, a class-III student of a
local primary school and son of Ashutosh Baidya of the village.
Local sources said Adibar went to the river along with his friends in
the afternoon for taking bath.
At one stage, he slipped into deep water of the river and drowned.
Later locals found his body floating in the river at about 4:30pm and
recovered it.
An unnatural death case was filed in this connection. -UNB, Manikganj
