Police recovered the body of a schoolboy from his house in Muslimpara
area of Sadar upazila on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Nazmul Hossain,17, a class IX student
of Pagla High School and son of Abdur Rab, resident of the area.
Abdur Rab said he and his other family members went to Faridpur
leaving Nazmul in the house on Monday afternoon.
Later, Shipon, maternal uncle of Nazmul, came to their house to see
Nazmul on Tuesday afternoon and found his (Nazmul’s) body lying in the
room, he said.
On information, police recovered the body that bore several injury
marks in the head and sent it to 100-bed General Hospital morgue for
autopsy.
Officer-in-charge of Fatulla Model Police Station Saiful Islam said
miscreants might have stabbed Nazmul to death with sharp weapon some
