Dhaka – All government and non-governmental secondary and junior secondary schools will enjoy 85 holidays except Fridays in the academic year, 2017.
Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Education Ministry issued an order on Monday in this regard.
As per the order, the holidays to be declared by the government as public holidays and those through executive order will be included in the 85 days.
It, however, said no school will remain closed on the day of the visit by any government official while no class can be halted for any reception or visit.
The school authorities cannot make students stand on road for showing honour to any guest or inspector. -UNB
