The district unit of Islami Chhatra Shibir, student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, has called a half-day hartal in the district for
tomorrow (Sunday).The shutdown, from 6.00am to 12.00pm, was called in protest against the arrest of Fakhruddin Manik, former central president, and Atiqul Islam, office secretary of Shibir.
The hartal announcement came on Saturday morning through a press release signed by Abdul Awal, president of the district unit of
Shibir.
