ZH Sikder Women’s Medical College and Hospital has sacked a doctor and a staff for confining and beating a journalist.
They are Dr Mohammad Safiul Azam and his telephone operator Abu Sufian.Sikder Group Director (Operations) SQ Islam Mohon confirmed journalists of their termination on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the duo and two other doctors of the hospital had confined and beaten Prothom Alo Special Correspondent Shishir Morol for more than two hours for questioning cardiologist Azam’s designation.-bdnews24.com
