Six injured in northern Bangladesh helicopter crash

Dhaka, Oct 1 – At least six people were injured on Sunday afternoon as a private helicopter crashed in Bhadra area of Chatmohar uUpazilaunder Pabna district.Officer-in-Charge of Chatmohar Police Station Ahsan Habib said the accident occurred around 5pm, injuring six people including the pilot.
The identities of the injured however, could not be ascertained till filing of this report at 9.30pm.
According to the OC Ahsan Habib, they left the Upazila Health Complex after taking primary treatment there.
Witnesses said the helicopter crashed near a warehouse storing rice, which is said to have overheated the chopper.
Locals had to pour water on it to cool the aircraft. – UNB
