Dhaka, Mar 9 (UNB) – The verified Facebook page and personal email of State Minister for Power Nasrul Hamid were hacked on Friday.
“They were hacked at the same time,” his public relations officer Aslam Uddin told UNB on Saturday. “The email has been recovered.”
Sources said the state minister noticed the matter when an unauthorised statement was posted on his Facebook page.
Aslam said the concerned authorities were asked to take necessary steps to recover the Facebook account.
He requested everyone not to be misled by any unexpected or irrelevant status from the state minister’s Facebook page until it is recovered.
