Dhaka, Apr 26 – Police cordoned off a suspected military den at Trimohoni village in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj early Wednesday.Acting on a Tip off, police encircled the suspected militant den around5:30 am, said officer-in-charge (OC) of Shibganj Police Station Habibul Islam.
“The militants fired several gunshots from the house towards the law enforcers,” the OC told UNB.
Meanwhile, a team of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) joined the police while another team set out from the capital to launch an operation, the OC added. – UNB
