Sylhet Agri varsity students protest power cut

Students of Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU) demonstrated on the
campus on Saturday night protesting frequent load shedding in the
university.
Students of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman hall of the university
started demonstration first and later students of different halls
joined the demonstration at about 8pm.
They changed slogans demanding an end to load-shedding in the university.
Students alleged that many of them have fallen sick due to frequent
load shedding amid scorching heat. Their research work is being
hampered as the laboratories remain inoperative most of the time due
to power failure.
Prof. Dr. Jamal Uddin Bhuiyan, director (Student consultant and
direction division) of the university confessed the allegation of the
students and said there should be no load shedding in any public
university.
