Police arrested Sylhet city unit Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Ehsanul Mahbub Jubayer from Zindabazar area in the city on Tuesday morning.
Acting on a tip off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested him at about 11:00 am, said Rahmatullah, assistant deputy commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police.The reason behind the arrest of Jubayer could not be known immediately. -UNB, Sylhet
