Sylhet, Nov 10 (UNB) – Police arrested an ex-councillor of Golapganj Upazila from his house at Mollagram on Friday evening on the charge of planning to commit acts of sabotage. The arrestee was identified as Golam Mostafa Musa, 39, son of late Fazir Ali and leader of Golapganj Upazila unit of Jamaat-e-Islami.
Tipped off, police raided Mostafa’s house and arrested him, said AK Fazlul Haque Shibly, officer-in-charge of Golapganj Model Police Station. – UNB
