Dhaka -Chittagong Vikings opener-cum-skipper Tamim Iqbal’s knock of 74 propelled to post a target of 135 against Dhaka Dynamites in their 11th tussle of the 4th Bangladesh Premier League T20 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Friday.Chittagong played stipulated 20 overs to collect 134 for six-wicket spurring by the 4th pair stand of 86 in 9.2 overs between Tamim and Shoaib Malik,UNB news agency reported.The pivotal 4th pair departed by Ronsford Beaton’s bowling as Pakistani recruitment Malik was caught by Andre Russell, carrying the team collection to 119/4 in 17 overs from 33/3 in 7.4 overs.Tamim fired six boundaries and three over boundaries off 59 balls, before being caught by Andre Russell off Dwayne Bravo when the team collection was at 119/5 in 17.1 overs.Another double figure scorer Malik was out for 33 off 25 balls,including one four and one six, for the side.Dwayne Bravo bagged three wickets for 27, Ronsford Beaton claimed two wickets for 30 and Andre Russell took one for 23 runs. All bowled four overs each.Earlier, Dynamites won the toss and sent Vikings to bat first.
