The only trillionaire of Bangladesh?

The Central Bank of Bangladesh is said to be busy, tidying, dusting, vacuuming-cleaning and making storage space in its cobwebbed vaults for its largest single in-shipment of money in the bank’s entire history. A whopping 32-BILLION Euros!
That’s over THREE TRILLION Taka in local Bangladesh currency.
Debonair controversial international arms dealer and Bangladeshi business tycoon Dr. Moosa Bin Shamsher wrote to the Government of Bangladesh earlier this month seeking permission to transfer his money from overseas to his personal bank account at the Commercial Bank of Ceylon in Gulshan.
In 2017, the gold chest value was Euros 20-billion but is now considerably more.
The money snowballed from years of a successful trading partnership with his longtime friend and business partner, infamous arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi.
Shamsher and Khashoggi were innovators in arms trading who revolutionized the business that brought them enormous power and great wealth. Many nations profited from their fresh innovative defence strategies that gave the nations independence and the ability to move forward.
The results of Khashoggi’s trading efforts came to light following his death in June 2017 when documents were found in a bank security box.
In an interview with The Daily Jugantor, Bangladesh Finance Minister Mostafa Kamal, MP, welcomed Shamsher’s good fortune and said he hopes the business tycoon will put it to good use to benefit Bangladesh, but added he had reservations for the national economy.
“Because it’s such a large amount of money, if it suddenly enters the country, it could swell inflation, creating a negative effect. This needs careful consideration and the approval of the Prime Minister,” he said.
The Finance Minister earlier told the Daily Sun he was also keen to retrieve around one trillion Taka of Shamsher’s money seized by Swiss banking authorities.
“Bangladesh will be benefitted if we can get back that money,” he said.
Since then, the rewards for Bangladesh have considerably increased.
Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) also sees benefits for the nation by the monetary transfer.
The Executive Director of TIB, Dr. Zaman Iftekharuzzaman, told Jugantor: “I want to see the transfer of money from Dr. Moosa Bin Shamsher in a positive light. That way Bangladesh will benefit. The transfer has to be done in a way that offers no impropriety and that the transfer is made under the state control of an organization like the Anti-Corruption Commission,” he said.
While Dr. Moosa awaits permission from the Government of Bangladesh for his money to enter unhindered, he has already begun chalking a series of programmes that will benefit the nation.
“One billion taka will be spent immediately on helping the patients at the mental institution in Pabna where reports of malnourishment are rife and people are suffering appallingly.
“Humanity is all about helping those who cannot help themselves,” he said, before ten impeccably dressed, well-groomed personal bodyguards ushered him away.
Shamsher, who wears diamonds on his shoes and adorns himself with jewellery worth millions of dollars, was the nation’s first millionaire, than billionaire. Now he is the sole runner in the race and rapidly heading towards the winning post to becoming the first trillionaire of Bangladesh.
