Dhaka – A minor boy drowned in a pond at Ghiba village in Manirampur upazila on in Jessore Tuesday morning.Quoting locals, police said Rohan, 2, son of Habibur Rahman of Ghiba village, slipped into the pond adjacent to his house while playing around 8am.UNB agencyLater, family members rescued Rohan from the pond after a frantic search and took him to Manirampur Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared him dead around 10am.A pall of gloom descended on the area after the incident.
