Police arrested Abdul Mahbub alias Ujjal, allegedly a top terror from
Jamalganj Bazaar in Akkelpur upazila on Saturday. The arrested person
was identified as Abdul Mahbub alias Ujjal of Nakuria village of
Joypurhat sadar upazila.
Police said being tipped off, a team of Joypurhat Sadar thana police
conducted a drive in the area at noon and arrested him.
Confirming his arrest, Hamidul Alam, superintendent of police of
Joypurhat, said Ujjal was wanted by police in 14 cases, including
murder, robbery, snatching and smuggling, filed with different police
