Biennial election of Narail Press Club was held on July 20 at Narail
Press Club Conference room. Narail Correspondent of BTV & The New
Nation Enamul Kabir Tuku and Narail Correspondent of Daily Kaler
Kontho Tarek Alam were elected as President and Secretary
respectively.
The poll began at 10 am and continued till 4 pm with an interval of
one hour and a half. A total of thirty four voters exercised their
franchise.
The other office bearers elect are – Vice president Sultan Mahmud
(GTV) Munir Choudhury (NTV), Joint secretary Sazzad Hossain Tipu
(Jugantar and SATV) and Mirza Nazrul Islam (Maasranga TV), Treasurer
Saiful Islam Tuhin (Jai Jai Din and Channel 24), Office secretary
Abdus Sattar (Purbanchal) and Sports and cultural secretary Farhad
Khan (Spandan).
The executive committee members elect are Bhakta Sarkar (UNB), SM
Halim Montu (Bhorer Dak), Shamimul Islam Tulu (Samakal), Rifat Bin
Twaha (Janakantha), Gulshan Ara (Daily Ocean), and Tarikuzzaman Litu
(Ittefaq).
The election was conducted by Advocate Achin Kumar Chakrabortty,
Advocate Uttam Kumar Ghosh and Advocate Azibur Rahman. -Our
