Barguna, May 08 – Two journalists were sent to jail in a case filed under the Digital Security Act on Thursday afternoon. Barguna Judicial Magistrate Court sent them to jail, said Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Abir Hossain.
The accused were Sumon Shikdar, local correspondent of Bangla Tribune and Mir Kamal, local correspondent of Banglanews24.com
A woman, Lamia, filed the case with Sadar Police Station on Wednesday accusing them of spreading rumours about her and her mother on Youtube. – UNB
