Police have arrested two newly elected mayors of Tanor and Putiya Municipal of Rajshahi from different places in different time.Sources said, Police arrested Md Mizanur Rahman a newly elected mayor of Tanor Upazila in a suit what was filled against him from Zero point of Rajshahi City at around 2.30pm when he was going to Rajshahi Shipakala academy befor taking oath.
On the other hand, Mayor of Putiya Municipal Asadul Haque has been arrested from Shilpakhala Academy after taking oath at around 3.00pm.
But law enforcing agency denied the matter.
It is noted that. On Wednesday 13 newly elected mayors of different Municipals took oath in Shilpakhala Academy of Rajshahi.
