A Japanese national has been gunned down in Bangladesh’s northern district of Rangpur. This has happened within a week of the murder of an Italian citizen.
Unknown assailants fired at the Japanese man, who the police identified only as ‘Oci Koniyo’, at Kawnia Upazila’s Alutari Nachniya area .
Kawnia police OC Rezaul Karim said they are seeking detailed identity of the murdered Japanese.
The body has been kept at the Rangpur Medical College and Hospital, he said.
