A Dhaka Court Monday issued arrest warrant against assistant police
commissioner of Demra zone and four other people on charge of
violating the modesty of a housewife.Dhaka’s Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-3 Judge SM
Rezanur Rahman passed the order in the afternoon.
The accused persons are: Mohammad Minhajul Islam assistant police
commissioner, Managing Director of Trinity Real Estate Limited
Mohammad Sabbir Hassan Khan Milon and three directors of the real
estate limited-Mamunur Rashid, Mohammad Azizur Rahman and Aminur
Rahman Amin.
The victim, filed a case against the people under Women and Child
Repression Prevention Act on April 17.
After investigation, the court issued an arrest warrant against accused.
According to the case statement, the accused violated the victim and
threatened her to leave her own flat no. 568/1 at Noyatola in the
City’s Maghbazar area on April 7.
