World Bank country director Johannes Zutt called on managing director of Dhaka Wasa Taqsem A Khan at his office on Monday. During the meeting, they discussed various sewerage and drainage projects of Dhaka Wasa financed by the World Bank, a Wasa press release said. The World Bank country director expressed his satisfaction over the activities of Dhaka Wasa during the last four years as well as the `Dhaka Wasa Turn around programme 2010-2013’. Zutt also assured of more engagement of World Bank in the development of the sewerage and drainage sectors of Dhaka Wasa. Deputy Managing Director (Admin), Chief Engineer, Deputy Chief Engineer, Project directors of Dhaka Wasa and the officials of World Bank were also present. – UNB
