Police have recovered the body of a youth from the capital’s Gulshan Lake beside the deplomatic enclave and posh residential areas of Baridhar and Gulshan on Wednesday.
Gulshan police OC Rafiqul Islam said locals informed police after spotting the body around 10am Wednesday. The youth, in his thirties, is yet to be identified, he said.OC Islam told bdnews24.com that the body was mutilated and no injury marks were found on it.
“It appears that either he fell or was thrown in the water around two days ago.”
The body has been sent to Dhaka Medical College for autopsy, said the police official. – bdnews24.com
