Alleged Huji leader held in city

The Detective Branch (DB) of police in a drive arrested an alleged leader of banned Islamist militant outfit Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (Huji) from the city’s Syedabad area on Tuesday night.
The arrestee was identified as M Ibrahim, 40, a leader of the operation wing of Huji.Tipped off, a team of the DB of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) launched a drive in Syedabad area at midnight and arrested Ibrahim, deputy commissioner (Media) of DMP Masudur Rahman told journalists.
Ibrahim in a primary interrogation confessed to law enforces that he took training on the technical sides of militancy from abroad. – UNB
