Police recovered the body of a young man from a water body at Bagdi village in Kaliganj upazila early Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Jony Gomez, 36, son of Bijoy Gomez of the village.
Quoting family members, police said Jony had remained missing since Thursday night after his neighbour Sony Gomez called him out of the house saying to go for fishing in the nearby water body.
Being informed, police recovered the body early in the morning and sent it to sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.Police also arrested Sony. -UNB, Gazipur
