Dhaka – A young man was hacked to death by miscreants in the city’s Jurain area on Monday night.The deceased was identified as M Saidur Rahman Tutul, 35, son of late Imdadul Hoque of the area.Locals said a group of miscreants snatched the mobile phone of Tutul’ s elder brother in the morning.Tutul locked into an altercation with the criminals over the snatching in the afternoon.At one stage, the hoodlums hacked him with sharp weapons around 3:30 pm, leaving him injured.He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 5:30 pm where he succumbed to his injuries around 10 pm, said DMCH Police Camp in-charge sub-inspector Bachchu Miah. -UNB
