Police arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 30 bottles of
Indian Phensidyl syrup from Vainamore bus stand in the district town
on Friday.
The arrestee identified as Abul Kalam,24, hails from Jessore district town.
Officer-in-charge (OC) Jahangir Alam of Magura Sadar Police Station
said police arrested Kalam from a BRTC bus in the bus stand at noon
along with 30 bottles of Phensidyl.
He had long been peddling Phensidyl in different parts of Faridpur
buying it from Jessore, the OC added.
