Barguna – A college student was stabbed to death at Ghotbaria area of Keorabunia union parishad (UP) in Sadar upazila on
Sunday afternoon over a trifling matter.he deceased was identified as Sohel, 22, son of Altaf of the area and a final year student of Kolapara Poly Technique Institute.Quoting local sources, police said former UP chairman Md Shahjahan and his associate Liton scolded Sohel on charge of stealing fruits from a tree.Later, they locked into an altercation with Sohel’s father as he protested the incident.At one stage, Shahjahan stabbed Sohel with a sharp weapon and fled the scene.The injured was rushed to Barguna General Hospital where doctor
