The 32nd death anniversary was observed here with different programmes. Sylhet city unit of Bangladesh BNP arranged the discussion meeting with its M.A Haque in the chair. It was addressed, among others, Shomser Mubin Chowdhury, Shakhaowat Hossain Jibon, Abul Kaher Shamim, Shahriar Hossain Chowdhury, Ali Ahmed, Bodrujjaman Selim, Besides, Quran Khwani, Milad Mahfil, hoisting of the national flag at the party office, offering of wreaths at the portraits of the four national leaders and wearing of black badges was conducted.
The main opposition party and its associate bodies have chalked out a 18-day programme to mark the death anniversary.The programmes include discussions, hoisting party and black flags, wearing black badges, placing floral wreaths and offering fateha, distribution of food among the destitute, voluntary blood donation and a photo exhibition.
