Dhaka – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two armed dacoits from Ali Akbar road of Bibirhat area under Fatichari upazila in Chittagong on Friday.The arrested were identified as Mohammad Faruk,32, and Mohammad Ibrahim,28.Police recovered a shooter gun, seven rounds of bullets and huge sharp weapons from their possession.Assistant director (media) of Chittagong RAB-7 Mimtanur Rahman said, acting on tip off, RAB arrested them from Ali Akbar road of Bibirhat area under Fatichari upazila of the district at 2 pm today with the arms and bullets.The RAB officer said the arrested persons confessed that they used to commit robbery in groups at different areas in the city and district.BSS
