Two alleged criminals were arrested while trying to snatch a motorcycle from a man in Gojar Beel area of Sadar upazila on Tuesday night.The arrestees were identified as Lutfar Rahman and Shahidul Islam.
Police said a gang of muggers, including Lutfar Rahman and Shahidul Islam, tried to snatch a motorcycle from a man named Habibur Rahman at gunpoint while he was going to Atgharia village at night.Hearing his scream, locals rushed to the spot and caught the duo red handed with snatched motorcycle and pistol.However, their other associates managed to flee.
