Rajshahi, Mar 10 – Police arrested two probationary prison guards ‘with hemp in their possession’ from Kashiadanga area of the city on Friday evening.
The arrestees were identified as Golam Azam, 21 and Ferdous Rahman, 21, attached with Rajshahi Central Jail as probationary prison guards.
Rabiul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kashiadanga Police Station, said police set a check-post at an intersection here and arrested the duo along with hemp while they were coming from Haripur area after buying it. – UNB
