Dhaka, Aug 10 – Two people were killed and two others injured when a bus hit a pickup van in Ekdala area in Sadar Upazila OF Natore early Thursday.The deceased were identified as Rajon Kumar Ghosh, an egg trader and Rezaul Karim.
Shariful Islam, in-charge of Jhalmalia Highway Police Camp, said the accident took place in the area around 1:30 am when a Dhaka-bound bus from Rajshahi hit a Puthia-bound egg-laden pickup van, leaving two pickup passengers killed on the spot and two others injured.
The injured were taken to local hospital. – unb
