Chattogram, Nov 25 – Three madrasa students on a motorcycle were killed in a head-on collision with an oil-laden truck on Chattogram-Khagrachhari highway in Fatikchhari Upazila on Sunday night.
The deceased were identified as Md Arif, 16, Masud, 15, and Minhaj, 16, residents of Paindong Union of the Upazila, said union Parishad chairman Sarwar Shopan.
Quoting witnesses, Chittagong Medical College Hospital in-charge Jaharul Islam, said the accident took place when the motorcycle carrying the trio collided with the truck around 7:45 pm, leaving Arif dead on the spot and two others injured.
Later, they were taken to the hospital where doctor declared them dead around 8:30 pm, he added. – UNB
