Four senior police officers have been promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG).The Public Security Division of the Home Ministry issued a notification on Thursday in this regard.
The four promoted officers are Additional Commissioner (Current charge) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Md Abdul Baten, its Joint Commissioner Imtiaj Ahmed, Additional DIG of Police Bureau of Investigation (PIB) Md Mainul Hasan and Additional DIG of Dhaka Range Md Abu Kalam Siddique.
