Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive recovered 400 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup from a field in Kushkhali Moktar area of sadar upazila on Thursday morning.Being tipped of that a gang of drug peddlers from India was crossing the area along with a consignment of Phensidyl, a team of BGB conducted a raid in the area around 9.00am.Sensing the presence of BGB, the drug peddlers fled the scene.Later they recovered Phensidyl syrup worth Tk2 lakh.Nayek Subedar Ahmmad Ali of Kushkhali BGB camp, confirmed the incident. -UNB, Satkhira
