The Cabinet is likely to approve the draft of the Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Policy 2016 on Monday.Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Secretary Khandaker Mohammad Iftekhar Haidar made the disclosure while talking to UNB on Sunday.
After amending the existing policy, the ministry will place the draft of the Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Policy 2016 before the regular meeting of the Cabinet tomorrow (Monday) for its approval, he said.
The draft policy contains the government’s five-year plan on welfare of the overseas workers and its implementation strategy, he said.
