Another Bangladeshi killed in BSF firing at Thakurgaon border

A Bangladeshi national, who sustained bullet injuries with another one as members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) opened fire on them in Chanpasa border area of Haripur upazila, died at a hospital in India on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Mobarok, 35, son of Belal Hossain, a resident of Magura village of the upazila and a cattle trader.
Akhterruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Haripur Police Station, said Mobarok and his other associate Mainul received bullet injuries as the BSF members from Kamarpara camp opened fire on them when they went to 346 no pillar area of the border for bringing cattle on September 09.
Mainul managed to flee with injury but BSF detained Mobarok.
Later Mainul succumbed to his injuries at Rangpur Medical College Hospital on September 16.
The BSF members took Mobarok to Raiganj Hospital in West Bengal where he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday noon.
The body will be handed over on Sunday afternoon, added the OC.- UNB
