India’s Border Security Force has detained a Bangladeshi from the Naogaon border.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) identified the man as Omar Ali, 42, of Porsha Upazila’s Nitpur village.
Ali was fishing along the Nitpur border on Tuesday afternoon and strayed into Indian territory, said BGB-14 Nitpur Company Commander Subedar Harunur Rashid.BSF’s Harishchandrapur camp members detained him. The BGB had formally requested its Indian counterpart in the afternoon to send back Ali. – bdnews24.com
