BSF kills one injures two in Kurigram

One Bangladeshi young man was killed and two others were injured by firing of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Friday morning.
Members of BSF opened fire on them while they were crossing the border with cattle after purchase from India.
The victim was identified as Shamol Chandra Baddakar 32. The injured young men are Manik Chandra Roy 34 and Badal Chandra Baddakar 32. They used to work as helpers of cattle traders.Cattle traders purchased the cattle and asked them to cross the border. When the Bangladeshi cattle traders and their helpers were crossing the border, members of Indian BSF chased them and at one stage opened several rounds of fire on them.
Receiving bullet injuries Shamol Chandra, Badal Chandra and Manik Chandra crossed the border. Shamol died in the Bangladesh territory.
Later, members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) collected the body of Shamol Chandar Baddakar and handed it over to police.
BGB of Kurigram border area confirmed the incident and said they strongly protested it. – BSS
