Dhaka – Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a businessman along with a pistol from Hotel City Inn in the city on Tuesday night.The arrestee was identified as Syed Monir Hossain, owner of Jalil Tower and Hotel Jalico in the city.Captain Khandakar Rafiqul Islam, commanding officer of Rab-6, said the elite force arrested Monir along with a pistol from the hotel after he had reportedly created panic among people by publicly displaying his gun around 10 pm while he was drunk.However, it is not confirmed yet whether the pistol is licensed to Monir Hossain, said the Rab official.UNB news agency
