Robbers looted 18 ‘bhori’ gold ornaments and Tk 86 thousand from a house in Tala upazila early Thursday.Shadhan Sarkar, owner of the house, said a group of 5-6 robbers broke into his house early hours on Thursday.As the house inmates tried to resist, the robbers beat them indiscriminately and gagged their voices by stuffing ropes in their mouths.Later, the robbers fled the scene hurriedly after looting 18 ‘bhori’ gold ornaments and Tk 86 thousand cash from the house.Officer-in-charge of Tala Police Station confirmed the incident.-UNB
